1. UAE legal framework

This Policy is prepared with reference to the United Arab Emirates Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 regarding the Protection of Personal Data (“UAE PDPL”), together with implementing decisions issued by the UAE Data Office and sector guidance applicable to our activities (including Advertising Researches & Consultancies and Information Technology Consultants). Where our website or services are accessed from other jurisdictions, we apply the UAE rules as a baseline and additionally respect mandatory local requirements where they apply.

2. Categories of personal data

Depending on how you interact with us, we may process: identification and contact data (name, email, organisation, role); communication content you send through forms or email; technical and usage data (IP address, device/browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, timestamps); and cookie or similar identifiers where you consent to non-essential cookies.

3. Purposes and legal bases (UAE PDPL)

We process personal data for: responding to enquiries and delivering contracted consulting or research services; operating and securing our website; maintaining records required for compliance, audit, and dispute resolution; and, where permitted, understanding aggregated usage of our digital properties. Processing is based on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations applicable in the UAE, our legitimate interests in running a professional services business (balanced against your rights), or consent where required—particularly for optional analytics/marketing cookies.

We may share personal data with professional advisers, hosting and email providers, and analytics tools that act on our instructions. If personal data is transferred outside the UAE, we take steps consistent with the UAE PDPL (including contractual safeguards where appropriate) unless a lawful derogation applies.

Subject to conditions in the UAE PDPL, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (where technically feasible), objection to certain processing, and withdrawal of consent for processing that relies on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent UAE supervisory authority as recognised from time to time. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we encourage you to use secure channels when sharing sensitive information.

9. Children

Our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without appropriate parental authority.
